- I am a native Portlander, happily returned to my hometown. I earned my B.A. from the Roosevelt Academy, and an M.A. in Book and Digital Media Studies at Leiden University in the Netherlands. I like to read, travel, learn languages, eat, cook, and write about these things - and others. I spend my time making coffee, meeting people, facilitating writing workshops, and teaching Spanish to kids.
